A new signup bonus is being offered on the Citi Hilton HHonors Visa Signature card that is worth grabbing. I briefly talked about this card in my post on the best cards for free hotel status and it is worth discussing now that the signup is back up at the level of consideration. The bonus is 75,000 points after spending $2,000 in three months. Here's the link,
Free HHilton Silver Status
No Annual Fee
75k Signup Bonus
Bad return on everyday spend
Relative value of HHonors Points is low
Should I Get This Card?
If you're just starting out and looking for a no-annual fee option to establish your hotel loyalty, this is a pretty good option. I grabbed this card a while back for this specific bonus. I wouldn't recommend it for everyday use after you get the signup bonus, but the free silver status is a decent enough perk to keep in your wallet. Its best value is probably that you can get the card and keep it in your wallet forever to help your credit.
If you're in the market for a new card this is a pretty good option for the bonus. It should be good for one or two nights free depending on the Hilton.
